Despite the popularity of the place, Vanjangi Hill Station is still not equipped with tourist accommodations. In fact, most visitors stay in open spaces. It is recommended to carry a first aid kit and some snacks when you visit this place.
Vanjangi is best explored in groups. It is advised to trek up the hill early in the morning. At this time, you will witness mesmerizing sunrise views. The sun rises on a golden background with billowing white clouds. It is not uncommon to hear shouts from people at the top of the hill.
The trek takes about four to five kilometers to reach the vantage point. At times, you will have to climb through thick shrubs and stones. You may even have to walk through steep roads.
During your trek to Vanjangi, you will see many other travelers staying in camps. They may offer tents to visitors. If you are trekking with a group, you can avoid the risk of getting lost. It is also recommended to keep a water bottle along with you.
