If you have time between jobs, internships, or relaxation, a good music festival can complete the summer experience. Whether you’re an avid festival-goer or you’ve never attended a weekend-long music jubilee, this regional list of festivals is designed to accommodate all levels of experience and music genre tastes.

  1. Lockn’ Interlocking Music Festival
    • Location: Oak Ridge Farm – Arrington, Virginia
    • Dates: September 10-13, 2015
    • Cost: $200 for a 4-day General Admission pass
    • Music Type: older, more experienced jam bands
    • Major Headliners: Slightly Stoopid, The Doobie Brothers, Fishbone, Umphrey’s McGee, Widespread Panic
